What does the term actually mean?
Fashion companies are not only striving to become sustainable in order to save the planet and respect communities, but also to meet more savvy consumer demands.
Behind oil, fashion is the second largest cause of the ongoing pollution crisis. Embracing sustainable practices within the supply chain and among consumers is crucial to saving the planet.
To face this challenge, a fusion of science, technology and design is needed to create new practices and train new leaders that will guide the industry towards the future.
Every dress you buy carries a story of environmental impact, dedicated workers, and business efforts. Choosing a garment that honors all these aspects is challenging but vital for a sustainable future.

The Fashion & Sustainability Management Certificate Program provides the essential knowledge and tools needed to drive sustainability within the fashion industry.

In module tenth, we will land in Milan for an incredible three days of on-site learning. This unique experience will immerse us in the world of sustainability in fashion, as we visit five pioneering Italian fashion companies.
You'll engage with brands and industry experts, gaining firsthand insights into sustainable fashion and key challenges, exploring innovative solutions shaping the industry's future. It also offers a unique chance to connect with industry enthusiasts, enriching your perspective by engaging with individuals who share your passion for transforming one of the most polluting and unfair industries into a force for positive change.
